The hall is a registered charity number 1090223. Its purpose is to provide a "Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Skipsea and neighbourhood without distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions and in particular for use for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants."

 

Management Committee is made up of five trustees who are elected at an open annual general meeting each year, plus representatives from the Parish Council, Parochial Church Council and Primary School.

At the Annual General Meeting on 6 March 2023 it was resolved to publish Management Committee Minutes, although it was noted that some items might need to be redacted due to their confidential nature.
